About the Lab
Welcome to the lab. We study the neural mechanisms of perception, cognition, and behaviour, with a particular focus on visual processing, top-down influences, memory, and neural population dynamics.
Our work combines systems neuroscience, computational analysis, behaviour, and experimental methods including electrophysiology, imaging, and circuit manipulation.
We aim to understand how the brain uses sensory input, internal models, and recurrent processing to build robust representations of the world.
Current Themes
- Visual cortical processing and contextual modulation
- Top-down feedback and predictive signals
- Neural population coding and dynamics
- Interactions between perception, memory, and behaviour
